The Pantheon[]

The Gods of Rildan were created by Existence in The Beginning in order to rule over and protect the mortal plane.

Metallic Gods[]

The Metallic Gods represent rationality and conscience. They hold titles as representations of their responsibility to the domains which they were granted by Existence when they were created. They were the first to create dragons, and have since created the race of Metallics. They war mostly with the Chromatic Dragons out of defense of their ideals and territories.

Chromatic Gods[]

The Chromatic Gods are the embodiment of terror and irrationality. They do not hold any titles beyond their names, and their followers mention them by no other names. They are the creators of the Chromatic Dragons, and are consistently at war with the Metallic Gods.

Gemstone Gods[]

Gemstone gods are a mix of gods who identify with neither the Metallic nor the Chromatic gods. They hold their own ideals yet do not choose to lay under the protection of Existence. They are not considered a third faction in the god war, but as outsiders, minor and best left to their own devices.

Existence[]

Existence is the lord of everything. It created Rildan and all of its planes, its gods, and its rules. Existence created the Prismatics as a lesson to the gods that their creations can always be improved. Existence is the creator and master of the Veil, the barrier that keep all planes apart. Existence carries a retinue of gods in his favor, usually those who consider themselves above the wars of the Chromatic and Metallic gods. These gods server Existence in serveral ways from their connected planes.
